Hundreds of reports of laptop chargers overheating and catching fire has lead to a massive recall.

15.5 million Toshiba laptop AC adapters, including about 60 different models, are affected.

They were sold between April 2008 and April 2014 with Toshiba laptops and separately.

The adapters have reportedly overheated, caught fire, melted or burned 679 times leading to 43 reports of minor burn injuries.

If you have one of these, stop using it immediately and contact the importer, Dynabook Americas, at 800-457-7777 or go to this website for more information.

Dynabook Americas will provide a free replacement AC adapter if you follow specific instructions to dispose of the recalled adapter.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission’s website has a list of the specific models under recall.
